Bob Mackie

"The Prince of Glitter," Mackie got his start in television costume design as an assistant on "The Judy Garland Show." A couple of years later, he became one of the top designers creating memorable costumes for "The Carol Burnett Show" and later, "The Sonny & Cher Comedy Show." Mackie has received 30 nominations and has won eight Emmys for his work on variety specials and shows, including "Mitzi…Zings Into Spring," "Mama’s Family," and "Carol & Company." His work can still be seen on top celebrities today as well as on a collection of Barbie dolls for Mattel.
