Kelly DeLap-Evans
Kelly DeLap Evans joined Disney ABC Cable Networks Group in 2002. As vice president, standards and practices, she oversees S&P policy for all programming on Disney Channel, Toon Disney/Jetix and ABC Family. Prior to joining Disney, DeLap Evans served as vice president, educational policies and program practices for Fox Kids Network and Fox Family Channel. She has been involved with children’s media since 1995, developing educational program content, community outreach projects, and classroom materials. DeLap Evans, who has a degree from UC Irvine, recently spent two years on the board of the Southern California chapter of Women in Cable Television. She has been an active member of the Television Academy for several years, serving on the Children’s Programming Executive Committee and the Fred Rogers Scholarship Committee. This is her first term as governor.

Michael R. Polis
With nearly 20 years of proven expertise in marketing, licensing and product development in all media, Michael Polis has managed some of the world’s most celebrated brands. He additionally has developed and produced original content for film, television and the internet. Named one of License! magazine’s “40 Under 40” Outstanding Executives, Polis joined the animation and production studio W!LDBRAIN as chief marketing officer in June 2007. Prior to W!LDBRAIN, he served as senior vice president marketing worldwide of the Jim Henson Company, driving all strategic marketing initiatives for the entire Henson library on a global basis. Properties included the Muppets, Fraggle Rock and Labyrinth. At Henson, he concurrently developed and produced content for the web and the DVD marketplace, including the feature films Mirror Mask and Kermit’s Swamp Years — for which he received an Emmy nomination as executive producer. Previously, he was executive director of marketing at Universal Home Entertainment, where he implemented a corporate branding strategy and managed marketing of Universal’s DVD/video sell-through catalog and new releases, including E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial, The Lost World: Jurassic Park and the Land Before Time series. In this role, he pioneered the first feature film in American Sign Language on video and established cross-promotions with such companies as Burger King, the Pillsbury Company and Hasbro. Polis also served in new product development and promotions for Post Cereals and the Maxwell House Coffee Company while at Kraft Foods. In addition to his Television Academy service, he is a member of the New Media Group of the Producers Guild of America. Polis holds an M.B.A. from Northeastern University and resides in Los Angeles with his family.
