Brad Grey was the former chairman and CEO of Paramount Pictures. He led the studio for twelve years, during franchises that included the Transformer movies, Star Trek films, and the Mission: Impossible series, as well as Al Gore’s An Inconvenient Truth.

Grey also served as a producer on many television series including It’s Garry Shandling’s Show, The Dana Carvey Show, The Jeff Foxworthy Show, The Naked Truth, Mr. Show with Bob and David, The Larry Sanders Show, NewsRadio, Politically Incorrect, Pasadena, Just Shoot Me!, The Sopranos, and Real Time with Bill Maher.

Grey also contributed to the films Happy Gilmore, The Cable Guy, The Wedding Singer, Scary Movie, View from the Top, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, The Departed, Running with Scissors, and The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford.

As executive producer of The Sopranos, he won two best drama series Emmy Awards, and he also won four Peabody Awards. He had 31 additional Emmy nominations.

As a manager, his clients included Brad Pitt, Jennifer Aniston, Bill Maher, Marc Anthony, Jim Belushi, Wayne Brady, Dana Carvey, Bob Costas, Courteney Cox, Rudolph Giuliani, Greg Kinnear, Rob Lowe, John Malkovich, Lorne Michaels, Dennis Miller, Guy Ritchie, Adam Sandler, Martin Short, Christian Slater and Jimmy Smits.

Grey died May 14, 2017, in Los Angeles. He was 59.
