Danny Dias was a reality television personality, best known for starring on MTV’s Road Rules: X-Treme in 2004 and Real World/Road Rules Challenge: The Gauntlet 2 from 2005 to 2006.

He appeared on the 13th season of Road Rules, which was filmed in an RV in Argentina, until he was voted out in episode six. His run on Real World lasted for four episodes.

Dias later became an AIDS activist and co-founded the research charity, Generation Cure.

According to news reports, he died from complications of chronic substance abuse on June 5, 2017, in New York City. He was 34.
