Denis McGrath

Denis McGrath was a writer best known for his work on the Syfy network television series Continuum and Aftermath.

The New York City-born McGrath was also a champion of Canadian television, and was a member of the Writers Guild of Canada. He worked at the Canadian networks TVOntario and City TV during the early 1990s, and served as a producer at Space, Canada's cable sci-fi channel.

He also wrote and executive produced many Canadian series that were sold to U.S. markets, including The Border, SGU Stargate Universe, Bitten, InSecurity, Republic of Doyle and X Company.

McGrath died March 23, 2017, in Toronto, Canada. He was 48.
