Eugene Lee was an American set designer who worked in film, theater, and television.

He was the production designer for Saturday Night Live for 48 years, from the show's premiere in 1975 until his death.

He won Tony Awards for Leonard Bernstein's Candide, Stephen Sondheim's Sweeney Todd, and Wicked.

Lee died February 7, 2023 in Providence, Rhode Island. He was 83.
