George C. Reeves Jr. was an entertainment executive as well as a writer and producer. In 1981, he penned the television movie Crazy Times, starring Ray Liotta, David Caruso and Michael Paré.
The semi-autobiographical ABC telefilm followed the story of three teenage friends living in Rockaway Beach, Queens, New York, during the summer of 1955. It earned an Emmy nomination for outstanding achievement in costumes. Reeves also served as an executive producer on the film.
The following year, in 1982, he was an executive in charge of production on the television movie Farrell for the People, about an honorable and compassionate district attorney.

Reeves also served as a lawyer and business affairs executive for companies that included American International Pictures, ABC, Intermedia Entertainment, Triad Artists Agency and New World Television.
Additionally, he was the father of writer-director Matt Reeves, who co-created the television series Felicity and directed the films Cloverfield and Dawn of the Planet of the Apes.
Reeves Jr. died March 24, 2016, in Los Angeles. He was 78.
