Orison Marden

Orison Marden was a longtime labor relations executive for CBS and Columbia Pictures.

He got his start at CBS Radio in New York in 1957. After working in various production roles for the network, including production supervisor on the game shows I’ve Got a Secret and To Tell the Truth, he was promoted to assistant director of labor relations in 1967.

Marden later worked as a director and then vice president of labor relations at CBS in Los Angeles from 1971 to 1981, at which point he joined Columbia Pictures and Columbia Pictures Television as vice president of labor relations.

He died April 4, 2017, in Sherman Oaks, California. He was 85.
