Ted Brown was an associate producer for ESPN. He joined the network in 2007 and worked on projects including ABC’s College Football Primetime, the College Football National Championship Game and the Australian Open Tennis Tournament. Brown also served in the graphics department, primarily in tennis coverage.
Prior to working in broadcasting, Brown had fostered his talents as a concert violinist, singer, saxophonist and actor, and pursued his performing aspirations with an associate degree from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City.
It was his love of sports, however, that drew him to journalism. He later earned an additional degree from the Connecticut School of Broadcasting.

Brown died of a heart attack on January 26, 2016, in Melbourne, Australia. He was 36.
