Trustin Howard

Trustin Howard was a singer, performer and writer best known for his work as the head writer on the Joey Bishop Show, a late-night 1960s talk show.

Howard also wrote and produced for the Ralph Edwards series This Is Your Life and wrote for the TV special The Night of Stars.

Additionally, Howard voiced the title role in Philbert, a 1963 pilot for a live-action/animation hybrid about an animator whose creation comes to life.

He also appeared in the movies The Atomic Kid, with Mickey Rooney; King Creole, with Elvis Presley; and Career, starring Dean Martin and Shirley MacLaine.

Howard died April 20, 2017, in West Hills, California. He was 93.
