Victoria Smart

Victoria Smart currently serves as Director of Membership for the Television Academy. In this position she oversees all aspects of membership for over 18,000 members.

Additionally she handles yearly Governor elections, serves as liaison to the Membership Committee and interfaces with the Board of Governors on all revisions to requirements and proper placement of applicants. Her department is responsible for the maintenance of the Member Discount Program and facilitating Peer Group Executive Committee meetings.

Prior to joining the Television Academy, Ms. Smart worked for an Association Management firm as the Membership Manager. She started her career in New York working with Allen Ginsberg on organizing and cataloging his photo collection for a publication and worldwide exhibits.
 
Growing up around the world as an "Army Brat" Ms. Smart continues to enjoy traveling; she also volunteers as a monitor for the Department of Children & Family Services and previously served as a monitor for women in recovery homes. She lives in the San Fernando Valley with her children.
