William Frye

William Frye was a producer and agent best known for representing Cary Grant, Douglas Fairbanks Jr., Lucille Ball, Ronald Reagan, Bette Davis, Olivia de Havilland, Loretta Young, Bob Hope and Jimmy Stewart.

Frye also served as a producer on the series General Electric Theater, Schlitz Playhouse, Startime, The Deputy, Thriller, Four Star Playhouse, Star Stage, and the short-lived NBC series Johnny Staccato, starring John Cassavetes.

He also contributed to the films The Trouble with Angels and Where Angels Go Trouble Follows!, starring Rosalind Russell; Airport 1975, starring Charlton Heston; and Airport ’77, starring Jack Lemmon.

In 1963, Frye produced the documentary A Look at Monaco, which featured the retired actress Grace Kelly, now a princess, giving a tour of her principality.

Frye died November 3, 2017, in Palm Desert, California. He was 96.
