HOLLYWOOD RADIO & TELEVISION SOCIETY AND THE
ACADEMY OF TELEVISION ARTS & SCIENCES TO PRESENT
NETWORK CHIEFS SUMMIT
North Hollywood, CA, Sept. 24, 2007 The Hollywood Radio & Television Society (HRTS) teams up with the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences to present the Network Chiefs Summit Newsmaker Luncheon on October 16th at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. Chris Silbermann, President, HRTS and Dick Askin, Chairman of the Television Academy, announced the news today.
The third Network Chiefs luncheon co-presented by the Television Academy and HRTS, scheduled panelists include:
- Steve McPherson, President, ABC Entertainment
- Kevin Reilly, President, Entertainment Fox Broadcasting Company
- Ben Silverman, Co-Chairman, NBC Entertainment and Universal Media Studios
- Dawn Ostroff, President, Entertainment, The CW
- Nina Tassler President, CBS Entertainment
- Moderator TBA
"The Network Chiefs Summit is a signature event for HRTS and allows the network heads to assess the early returns on the season's new shows for our members," said Silbermann.
"In addition," he continued, "we are delighted with the strong support that the Television Academy continues to provide us and look forward to a long-lasting relationship with them.”
"The Television Academy supports this significant industry event because of the important role the network presidents play in shaping their business to succeed in the rapidly changing landscape of television,” added Askin. “This luncheon is always a must attend event.”
The Network Chiefs Newsmaker Luncheon VIP Reception begins at 11:30a.m.; reception/lunch 12p.m.
Tickets: $210 for HRTS and Television Academy Members; $435 for Non-Members. Tables of 10 or 12 are also available. Reservations are required.
