Standard, Writers, Student and Faculty Membership Applications
There are four different types of applications. The standard application should be used for both active and associate status in 26 of the peer groups, including Los Angeles Area. If you are applying to the Writers peer group you must use the writers application. Students and faculty should use either the student or faculty application respectively.

Updating Your Membership Information
We offer two forms to update and change membership information: 1) The Membership Records Update form is essential to keep our records current with positions held or credits received, and can be sent in with your renewal dues. 2) The Peer Group Status form allows a member to apply for a transfer into a different peer group.
Updating Information and Paying Dues Online
You have the option of updating your address, email opt-in status and ability to pay dues online. Here's how:
- Near the top of this page, click on the yellow "Member Login" tab. You will need your member username and password info to login to this password-protected area.
- If you need to obtain your username and password, forgot it, etc., press the "Forgot Password" button on that member login page to have it sent directly to your email address. (Email address must match address on file with the Television Academy.)
- Give the system a few minutes to work, check your inbox and return to the Member Login page with your password and proceed.
