(NoHo Arts District, Calif. — June 1, 2017) — The Television Academy today announced Bob Bain will return as executive producer for the 2017 Creative Arts Emmy Awards, marking Bain's third year as producer of the awards ceremonies. The Creative Arts ceremonies, honoring outstanding artistic and technical achievements in television, will take place over two consecutive nights — Saturday, September 9, and Sunday, September 10 — at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

Bob Bain Productions has also been tapped to produce the 69th Emmy Awards Nominations, streaming live on Thursday, July 13 on the Academy's website (emmys.com) at 11:30 AM ET/8:30 AM PT, as well as the Los Angeles Area Emmy Awards on Saturday, July 22. Both events will be held at the Television Academy's Wolf Theatre at the Saban Media Center.

"Bob and his team worked with the Television Academy to strategize and implement the very successful split of last year's Creative Arts Awards into two ceremonies," said Television Academy Chairman and CEO Hayma Washington. "We are thrilled to be working with him and his team again on a weekend of shows that are as captivating as the dynamic television industry we are honoring."

Bain is one of the most experienced and sought-after producers in variety television, and Bob Bain Productions is behind some of the industry's most popular events including the Teen Choice Awards, Kids Choice Awards, Billboard Music Awards, Critics' Choice Awards and the Miss America Pageant.

Bain's talented production team will include Supervising Producer Benn Fleishman, Producer/Writer Paul Flattery, Director Michael Dempsey and Coordinating Producer Carole Propp.

An edited version of the Creative Arts Awards will be broadcast by FXX at 8:00 PM ET/PT, encoring at 10:30 PM ET/PT.
