Daytime Emmy Judging

Did you know that all members of the Television Academy can judge the 51st Daytime Emmys?

Provide a wonderful service to our television community by judging Daytime Emmy entrants, March 21 - April 11. The time to sign up is now, and all members of the Television Academy are automatically qualified to judge!

If you have already signed up as a Daytime submitter or a Daytime judge within the past two years, YOUR SAME LOGIN WORKS.

If you have not participated in the Daytime Emmys or the Children's and Family Emmys, you must sign up with the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences' Orthicon system. NOTE: This system is not tied to primetime Emmys in any way!

Once you sign up, declare your membership, Peer Group, and conflicts, click YES for "I want to judge."  You will be assigned to 2-3 categories based specifically on your areas of expertise. Entries must be WATCHED and then SCORED according to the NATAS-provided rubric by April 11.

To sign up, go to the "Orthicon" entry system - enter.theemmys.tv

Be sure to Register or Login specifically for DAYTIME.

Here's a quick tutorial on signing up at the NATAS "Orthicon" entry site:

From the Dashboard, go to your Profile:

You must complete BOTH steps of this process:

1. Toggle YES for do you wish to judge -- **HIT SAVE**
2. Fill out the Judging Qualifications – this will open up AFTER you toggle YES. If you have judged within the last two years and your Qualifications are filled out, please review to make sure they are still accurate, including conflicts. Nobody is allowed to judge material they worked on.

You will receive an email when you have register, when you have signed up to Judge, when you have been Approved to Judge, and then finally an email with instructions on how to login and complete your judging.

Sign up now: enter.theemmys.tv.

Thank you for playing an important role in the Daytime Emmys!
