Bob McCracken, actor, director, coach, was best known for his role as Brendan Roarke, an Irish King in five seasons of The Sons of Anarchy.

Bob grew up a military brat. He attended elementary school in Philadelphia, Bay Ridge, Brooklyn and Largo Florida, graduating from Antilles High School in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Bob grew up a military brat. He attended elementary school in Philadelphia, Bay Ridge, Brooklyn and Largo Florida, graduating from Antilles High School in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Bob fell in love with the theater while attending West Chester University in Pennsylvania where he received a BA in Theater. Upon graduation, he immediately began working in Philadelphia area theaters including the Pocket Playhouse, Hedgerow Theatre Company, The People's Light and Theatre Company as well as forming his own theater company, The South Street Theatre Company. He toured in productions for Rick Trow Productions where he honed his skills as a director. A production of Sexual Perversity in Chicago moved him to New York in the summer of 1981. Later that same year he moved to Los Angeles to begin what would be a 40+ year career acting in and directing television and film. He amassed an impressive resume of guest starring roles including: NCIS: New OrleansHawaii Five-0BoschBrooklyn 99Criminal MindsShamelessHouseLaw and Order: Los AngelesHere and NowPlayersDangerous Minds, and E.R. His last credit was the independent feature co-starring Cole Hauser, The Last Champion.

He acted in and directed multiple episodes of Any Day Now for Lifetime Television along with Judging Amy for CBS. He left Los Angeles in 2005 for a season at Oregon Shakespeare Festival, a community and theater very dear to his heart. Other theater credits include: My Antonia, Love of a Pig, Freedom of the City, and The American Century.
