Joseph A. Armetta was a set decorator and art director best known for his Emmy-nominated work on the acclaimed police drama Hill Street Blues.

Armetta also contributed to the series The Incredible Hulk, Kojak, Makin’ It, Taxi, Charlie’s Angels, T.J. Hooker, Square Pegs, The Love Boat, Who’s the Boss?, Hotel, Falcon Crest, The Bold and the Beautiful and Living Single.

Armetta worked in television for three decades and was a member of IATSE, Local 44 Union.

He died October 22, 2016, at the age of 73.
