Shannon Buck currently leads the TV publicity efforts at Netflix as Vice President, Series Publicity. She oversees the teams across scripted, unscripted and stand up content. Recent campaigns her team has led include Bridgerton, The Queen's Gambit, The Crown, Emily in Paris, Queen Eye, Love is Blind, The Circle and many more. During her tenure she has hired and organized the team and also overseen various functions including events, photo & AV studio, screenings and junket & slate efforts.

During her tenure she has hired and organized the team and also overseen various functions including events, photo & AV studio, screenings and junket & slate efforts. She joined the company as a Director and developed and executed publicity campaigns for Black Mirror, Mindhunter, Master of None, Big Mouth, Friends from College, Love, Death & Robots among others.

Prior to joining Netflix, she operated as Senior Vice President, Programming Publicity for STARZ where she worked across a variety of communications efforts including awards, events, talent relations and programming publicity strategy. Campaigns she or her team developed included Survivor's Remorse, Da Vinci's Demons, Black Sails, Power, The Chair, Outlander and more.

She also served as a Vice President at the boutique agency Ferencomm in New York City where she worked for clients including Bravo, Food Network, AMC, WeTV, DIY Network, Sundance Channel, STARZ, History Channel and more. Her responsibilities included corporate communications, media training, media relations, campaign strategy and development as well as leading efforts on behalf of her clients at TCA, San Diego and New York Comic Con, Sundance Film Festival and other industry functions.

She began her career at Fox New Channel as a Media Relations coordinator in New York City.

She graduated from the University of Virginia with degrees in English Literature and Media Studies. She has also attended UCLA Extension and completed an executive leadership program at the University of Denver. She volunteers as a mentor coach for the non-profit organization, America Needs You.

She currently resides in Los Feliz, California with her partner Sean, rescue dog Oscar and recently welcomed their first child, Hudson.
