68th Los Angeles Area Emmy Awards Announces Individual Achievement Winners

Five First-time Los Angeles Area Winners Are Among 12 Honorees Announced

The Television Academy today announced winners in the individual achievement categories for outstanding crafts in news and programming.

In addition to a host of multi-Emmy-winning industry veterans, five of the 12 Emmy winners recognized for Individual Achievement are first-time recipients of the Los Angeles Area Emmy Award. The honors are distributed as follows:

A complete list of the Los Angeles Area Emmy Award individual achievement winners, as compiled by the Academy's accounting firm of Ernst & Young LLP is below.

Winners will be presented with their Emmy statuettes on stage at the 68th Los Angeles Area Emmy Awards, on Saturday evening, July 23, 2016 at the Television Academy's new Saban Media Center.

Greg Taylor is Vice Chair, Los Angeles Area on the Academy's Executive Committee. Gerri Shaftel Constant and Beatriz Gomez are the Los Angeles Area Governors. The Academy's Senior Vice President for Awards is John Leverence and Vice President is Julie Shore. Liz Korda Smith is the Los Angeles Area Awards Director.
